I wasn’t always a graphic designer. I actually have a bachelor’s degree in Spanish from the University of Copenhagen and Universitat de València, another in Media Science from the University of Southern Denmark, and I also went to the European Film College. But the field of graphic design kept pulling me back in. Whatever else I do graphic design’s become such an engrained part of who I am I just can’t help continue to explore it.
I remember I was about thirteen years old when I first opened Adobe Photoshop. I just messed around and had fun. But day after day, week after week I continued to do so. Since then, I’ve expanded to other programs and continue to learn and experiment.
My creative approach is derived from this experience. I try to zero in on what I find most fascinating and thought-provoking about a project and dive deep into the “why” before turning to the “how” of expressing that idea visually.
In other words, I go through numerous iterations until one of them rouses the feelings in me that I’m aiming for, and that I think will affect your audience the same way.
