Three Retro Text Effects
For my friends over at GraphicsFuel I created this pack of three retro text styles for Adobe Photoshop.
Spice up your plain text, object or logo with some retro 1980s inspired, edgy, high-quality effects. They’re like those old heavy metal bands with crazy space LP covers or movies from that same time period with lots of neon, purple, blue and pink. I’m a big fan of all of that!
These effects are so easy to use because they're all one-click layer styles. They look great on artworks (any kind of art, really), wallpapers, banners, posters, flyers, invitations, in all kinds of presentations and templates, you name it.
These 3 text styles you get for free but there are more layer styles like these in my shops.
Only the text styles are usable. All other effects used in the preview are for presentation purposes only. Furthermore, the fonts you choose to use with the styles are up to you but for most effective effects I recommend using the fonts I used or similar ones.
Details such as fonts (and links to where you can download them) and how to scale them are included in a readme. The effects are scalable but obviously work best as big texts with a dark background.
